Repairs to Leaking Rogers Lake Dam in Old Lyme Expected to Begin Soon
Repairs to the Rogers Lake Dam are “imminent” and a construction start date will be set soon, according to First Selectwoman Bonnie Reemsnyder. The town is finalizing the details for the repair project for the leaking dam and construction will begin this month. Friends of Lyme Library Announces Founding Board

The Friends of the Lyme Library was officially formed on June 4. During the meeting, officers were elected and bylaws were adopted.
If any readers would like to become a Friend of the Library, membership applications can be picked up at the Lyme library. The fee is $20 annually.

Lyme-Old Lyme HS Scholar Athletes Recognized at Shoreline Conference Ceremony

Twenty four Lyme-Old Lyme High School students were honored at the 24th Annual Shoreline Conference Scholar Athletes Awards held at Old Saybrook High School, June 10. This award is presented to students who have both a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better and been recognized as First Team All-Conference or First Team All-State athletes.
Each athlete must also be at least a sophomore, have no failing grades for the academic period in which he or she is honored as all-conference and be of good standing in the community.

Social Connections Offers Host of Activities for Singles Through August
