Old Lyme’s Board of Selectmen is soliciting applications from people interested in serving on an Anti-Blight Ordinance Investigation Committee.
Committee members will investigate the existence of properties in Old Lyme that may contribute to the decline of neighborhoods; adversely affect the economic well-being of the Town; and/or be adverse to the health, safety, and welfare of its residents.
The Anti-Blight Ordinance Investigation Committee will be charged with investigating the effectiveness of creating an Ant-Blight ordinance and with making a final recommendation to the Board of Selectmen.
Applications are available on the Town website and in the Selectman’s Office at the Town Hall, 52 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, 06371. Applications are due to Selectman Skip Sibley at the Town Hall by Nov. 30.
