Provisional Results Announced by Lyme Show Democratic Sweep in That Town

State Senator Norm Needleman

LYME — The provisional results for Lyme gave Democrats a sweep of all the races in the town.

US Rep. Joe Courtney (D) has a substantial lead over his challenger Justin Anderson, but has yet to declare victory.

State Senator Norm Needleman (D-33rd) is currently leading over challenger Brendan Saunders.

Although David Rubino secured more votes than incumbent State Rep. Devin Carney (R) in Lyme, Carney appears to have secured victory over Rubino in the 23rd House District as a whole.
