Openings, Receptions Galore on Lyme Street Today

‘New Haven Green’ by Colin Campbell Cooper (1856 – 1937) is the signature work of the Connecticut Impressionists show opening Saturday.

The Cooley Gallery hosts an opening reception Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. for its latest exhibition, ‘New and Different,’ which, in fact, comprises three exhibitions, Connecticut ImpressionistsMichael Theise: The Art of Trompe L’oiel, and Off The Press.

Just across Lyme Street, E. F. Watermelon will also be hosting a special event that evening featuring the jewelry of Paula Crevoshay.

Artemisia, a new shop in town located just behind The Cooley Gallery specializing in fine textiles, pillows and decor for the home, will also be open from 4 to 7 p.m.  See our previously published article on Artemisia at this link.
