‘Power Quintet’ perform at the Old Lyme Inn, Sept. 2.

Power Quintet will perform at The Side Door Jazz Club at the Old Lyme Inn on Thursday Sept. 3, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. and the show starting at 8:30p.m.

Power Quintet is a new band composed of five of the brightest names in jazz; Steve Nelson on vibraphone, Jeremy Pelt on trumpet, pianist, Danny Grissett, Peter Washington on bass and Bill Stewart on drums. Together this group plays a mixture of newly arranged standards and daring originals. The interplay within this group is exceptional.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. No audio or video recording allowed (including cell phones) and photos are only permitted during the first set – no flash.
