Local author and Lyme resident James Benn will speak about The Rest is Silence, his ninth novel in the Billy Boyle WWII mystery series on Friday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. at the Lyme Public Library.  A book signing and reception will follow the program. Copies of the The Rest is Silence will be available for purchase.

The popularity and praise for the Billy Boyle series have grown with each new title. The Rest is Silence has received rave reviews from publications such as Suspense Magazine, Library Journal, Booklist, Kirkus Reviews and Publishers Weekly. The titles are popular not only for their plots, but for bringing to light lesser-known historical events and issues that occurred during WWII.
