The Old Lyme Visiting Nurse Association, Inc., hosts its annual Health & Wellness Day this morning from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at Christ the King Church event hall located at 1 McCurdy Road, Old Lyme.  This health fair is open to the general public.

The free services offered will include

In addition, a dietitian, audiologist, yoga instructor, physical therapist, massage therapist and other health care related professionals will be on hand to give information in their areas of expertise.

A Karate demonstration will be given.

There will be a children’s craft corner.

Complimentary refreshments, literature, and samples will be available.

New for this year will be the presence of the Yale-New Haven Hospital Digital Mobile Mammography Van.  For the van to make the trip to Old Lyme, it is necessary to have a certain number of appointments scheduled.  So, if in need of this important screening procedure, please call 203-688-1010 for more information and to make an appointment.
