Earlier this week, a delighted Lillian Reynolds awoke to find that her lawn in Lyme been ‘flocked.’

The committee for the Lyme-Old Lyme High School Class of 2014 Safe Graduation Party is offering a “Flock A Friend” fundraiser.   Committee members will “flock” a private residence with pink flamingoes, either a dozen or two, depending on the size of the donation.

The flock will arrive under the cover of darkness and then quietly disappear the next day, after the property owners have had a chuckle at the sight of the surprise visitors in their yard.

The arranged migration of the flock to a property of your choice can be anonymous or credited.

The ‘migration’ of a small flock (dozen) is $25 and a large flock (two dozen), $50.
