Tribal Crafts Opens Shop in Former Turning Page Over Next Weekend

Tribal Crafts is a non-profit organization based out of the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme. The group sells art and craft-work made by Lakota Native Americans of the Cheyenne River Reservation, South Dakota.

All proceeds are returned to the artisans of the Cheyenne River.  Items include bead, quill work, and silver jewelry, dream catchers, sculpture and more.

This year Tribal Crafts celebrates the holidays with special store hours at 62 Halls Rd. (next to the package store in the Big Y shopping plaza, Old Lyme … formerly The Turning Page Bookstore) during the weekend of Dec. 16-18.

Refreshments will be served on Opening Night, Friday, Dec. 16, from 5 to 9 p.m.  The first 10 people through the door will receive 10% off their entire purchase.

Additional store hours are as follows:
Saturday, Dec. 17, 9:00am – 8:00pm
Sunday, Dec. 18, 11:00am – 4:00pm
