OLD LYME — The concert scheduled for this evening at Lyme Academy of Fine Arts has been cancelled due to the forecast of inclement weather.

Staff at the Academy sent out an email announcing the cancellation early Wednesday evening.

The email stated, “We are so grateful for the community support we received and look forward to welcoming you back to the Academy for future events.”

The final concert in this summer series would have featured Midnight Anthem playing from 5 to 5:45 p.m. and Steve Dedman and Plywood Cowboy taking the stage from 6 to 8 p.m.

The series was produced in partnership with Nightingale’s Acoustic Café.
