Dan Steven’s car on fire last Wednesday evening.

With reference to our story below about local musicians Dan Stevens and Clayton Allen going to the International Blues Festival to represent Connecticut, we just received word of a near-disaster which happened to Stevens last week. He was driving home Wednesday night and pulled over due to car problems.

His car almost immediately burst into flames  and, although he was able to save himself and some of the items in his car, he lost his phone, computer, much of his musical equipment and the money he was using to fund his trip to Memphis.

A GoFundMe page has now been set up to help replace the lost cash and help with Stevens and Allen’s expenses for their Memphis trip.  Please help these great local performers get back on the “Road to Memphis” if you are able!
